Privacy Policy
Version 1.0, in effect from 23 September 2026. Türkçe: Gizlilik Politikası ve KVKK Aydınlatma Metni
The short version
NULLPORT has no account, no ads and no tracking. Your game is saved on your iPhone and never reaches us.
The one thing the game sends is a count of which steps players reach, filed under a random number made on your iPhone, so that we can see where the game loses people. It never carries your save, your handle, what you type, your name or anything else that points to you. You can switch it off in the game's Settings, and then the game sends nothing at all.
1. Who we are
NULLPORT is made and published by Çağlayan Özgün Kasap, a developer in Türkiye (“we”, “us”). We are responsible, as data controller, for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at support@stratanaut.com.
2. What stays on your iPhone
Your save. Your progress, the handle you choose, the commands you type into the game's terminal and your settings are saved on your iPhone with Apple's standard app storage.
Notifications. If you allow them, the game schedules notifications on your iPhone to tell you that a job it was running has finished. They are made and shown on your iPhone; none of them passes through a server.
None of this is sent to us, and we cannot see, restore or delete it for you. It is included in your iPhone's backups if you back up to iCloud or a computer, under your own Apple Account. Deleting the game deletes it from your iPhone.
3. Usage counts
To see where the game loses people, NULLPORT sends a short record to its analytics server when a player reaches certain steps. Each batch carries:
- a random install number, made on your iPhone the first time the game runs and kept only in the game's own storage;
- the game's version, your iOS version and your iPhone's language (for example
enortr); - the name of each step and the time it happened: opening the game after a break of 30 minutes or more, getting past the first screen, reading the first message, typing the first command, taking the first key, finishing Act 1, recalling an earlier command in the terminal and letting time pass in the game. A few steps carry one small number, such as which act you finished, how many in-game minutes passed or how far back in the terminal's history you went.
It never carries your save, your handle, what you type, your location, your contacts or any identifier other apps can see. The install number is not tied to your Apple Account, your name or your email. Deleting the game deletes it, and installing again makes a new one. The game does not use Apple's advertising identifier and never asks to track you.
Your iPhone's IP address reaches the server with each batch, as it does with any connection. The server does not store it with the records.
The install number cannot tell us who you are, but it can single out one installation of the game, so we treat these records as personal data.
Switching it off. In the game, open Settings (the gear on the game's home screen) and switch off “Send anonymous usage”. From then on the game sends nothing at all, and nothing else in the game changes.
Who runs the server. The analytics server is run for us by Opsida Teknoloji Yazılım Bilgisayar ve Danışmanlık Ltd. Şti., a company in Türkiye, as our processor. It keeps the records only to give us the counts and uses them for nothing else. The server runs on Vercel, in its Frankfurt region, and the records are stored in a Supabase database on Amazon Web Services servers in Frankfurt, Germany.
4. If you email us
When you write to support@stratanaut.com, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use them only to answer you and to fix what you report. Cloudflare forwards mail sent to that address to our mailbox at Google's Gmail and keeps no mailbox itself. We use Gmail under Google's standard terms, so Google handles those messages under its own privacy policy.
5. TestFlight
If you test NULLPORT through Apple's TestFlight, we receive the comments, screenshots and crash reports you choose to send. If you joined through a public TestFlight link, you appear anonymous unless you add your email address to your feedback; if we invited you by email, we see that address.
6. This website
When you visit nullport.stratanaut.com, our host Vercel receives the technical details every web request carries (your IP address, browser and device details, the page asked for and the time) in order to deliver the pages and keep the site secure. The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other companies.
The signup form on the home page is not connected to anything yet: what you type into it is not sent or saved, and the form says so. What you type into the page's terminal stays in your browser tab.
7. Buying the rest of the story
Act 1 is free. Acts 2 and 3 are one purchase, made through Apple. Apple handles the payment; we never receive your payment details, your Apple Account or your name. We see only Apple's sales reports, which do not say who bought.
If Share With App Developers is on in your iPhone's Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements, Apple also sends us crash reports and usage statistics that do not include your identity.
8. Legal bases
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on these legal bases under Article 6(1) of the GDPR:
- Usage counts: our legitimate interest in finding out where the game loses players and improving it, point (f). You can object at any time by switching the counts off, and the game then sends nothing.
- Answering your email: providing the game and the support you ask for, point (b), and our legitimate interest in fixing problems, point (f).
- TestFlight feedback and this website: our legitimate interest in testing the game and in delivering and securing the site, point (f).
- Privacy requests and legal claims: our legal obligations, point (c).
9. Who receives data
- Opsida Teknoloji Yazılım Bilgisayar ve Danışmanlık Ltd. Şti. (Türkiye): runs the analytics server for us, as our processor.
- Vercel Inc. (United States): hosts this website and the analytics server, as a processor.
- Supabase Pte. Ltd. (Singapore): provides the database that stores the usage counts, on Amazon Web Services servers in Frankfurt, as a processor.
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): forwards email sent to support@stratanaut.com to our mailbox, as a processor.
- Google LLC (United States): provides the Gmail mailbox our email arrives in, and handles those messages under its own privacy policy.
- Public authorities and courts: only when the law requires it, and only what they ask for.
We do not sell or rent your data.
10. Where data is processed
We work from Türkiye. The usage counts are stored in Frankfurt, Germany. Vercel, Cloudflare and Google are based in the United States and Supabase in Singapore, and they may process data in those countries and others.
11. How long we keep data
- Usage counts: as long as we need them to compare how one version of the game is played with the next, and no longer.
- Emails, TestFlight feedback and privacy requests: up to two years after the matter is closed, or longer if a law requires it.
- Request logs of this website and the analytics server: in Vercel's service logs, for the period Vercel sets.
- Your game on your iPhone: until you delete the game. We have no access to it.
12. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us for a copy of your personal data, and ask us to correct or delete it, to restrict or stop using it, or to give it to you in a portable format. You can object to the usage counts at any time by switching them off. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
In practice we hold very little about you: your emails, if you wrote to us, and usage counts we cannot link to you. The install number is not shown anywhere and is not tied to your name or email, so we cannot pick out the counts that came from your iPhone. Switching the counts off stops them. Deleting the game deletes the number, and after that nothing links the counts already sent to anyone.
To make a request, email support@stratanaut.com. We reply within one month at the latest. If you live in Türkiye, your rights under Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and how to apply are set out in our KVKK Aydınlatma Metni, in Turkish.
13. Children
NULLPORT is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you think a child under 13 has sent us personal data, tell us and we will delete it.
14. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new version number and date. If a change affects what data the game handles, we will also say so in the App Store release notes.
